Yemen’s military said Friday that the Houthi group targeted Aden International Airport and the presidential palace in the southern city of Aden with ballistic missiles.

Axar.az reports, citing Anadolu Agency, that military spokesman Majed Abdullah al-Nuzaili said in a statement that the Houthis had launched ballistic missiles at the airport and the Maashiq Presidential Palace.

The reported attacks come a day after the Aden airport resumed operations following a temporary suspension caused by a Houthi missile strike on Wednesday.

Yemeni authorities said two civilians were injured and the airport sustained damage in Wednesday’s attack, which prompted emergency repairs to the runway.
