Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia has no intention of halting its military operations against Ukraine.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that according to him, halting the operations would give Ukraine an opportunity to rebuild its forces.

Peskov said preparations for trilateral talks involving Ukraine, the United States and Russia do not mean that Moscow has agreed to any ceasefire.

“Preparing for negotiations does not imply taking on any commitments to limit military operations. We have repeatedly stated that we oppose a ceasefire that would give the Ukrainians a respite,” he said.
