The La Liga match between Barcelona and Real Madrid (1-2) in the 10th round has become the highest-grossing game in the history of the Catalan club’s home stadium, Camp Nou.

Axar.az reports that Barcelona earned €19.1 million from ticket sales alone. In addition, the club generated €1.5 million in revenue from sales at its official store over the weekend.

Barcelona released the first batch of tickets for El Clasico ahead of the match. These tickets were available exclusively to club members, with prices starting at €315. Members were also offered a 5% discount.

After the first batch sold out immediately, tickets were made available to the general public. At this stage, the cheapest tickets cost more than €1,000. These also sold out within a short period.

It should be noted that a total of 62,055 fans watched the Barcelona-Real Madrid match at the stadium.
