I do not think that the coronavirus pandemic will change the geostrategic balance in the world.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio.

"I do not think there will be a shift in the geostrategic balance. I am most concerned about how the pandemic will affect the world economy," he said.

Di Maio stressed that along with China and Russia, it provides assistance to Albania, Cuba, Poland, France, and Germany.

"Italy has always been a bridge between West and East."
