Afghanistan vice president escapes from a bomb attack

A car bomb has exploded near the motorcade of Afghanistan's first vice president, Amrullah Saleh.

Axar.az reports that although Amrullah Saleh was not injured in the incident, two people were killed and seven others were injured.

Amrullah Saleh's bodyguards were among the wounded.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in Kabul's Taimani Square, the vice president's press service said.
