56-year-old Armenian colonel Sasun Hunanyan has died.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Armenian Defense Ministry.

Hunanyan was especially "distinguished" by his atrocities against captured Azerbaijanis during the Karabakh war.

An Armenian colonel of Javakheti origin took part in the ethnic cleansing and occupation of Azerbaijani territories as part of Armenian terrorist groups. In 2001, he headed the intelligence unit of military unit N of the Armenian Defense Ministry and retired 13 years later.

Armenian media reported that Hunanya died of vodka poisoning.

According to official data, 19 people died of vodka poisoning in Armenia in the last 10 days.
