Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan expressed support to Azerbaijan in defending of its territorial integrity.

Axar.az presents Khan's Twitter.

"I extend warmest felicitations to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and fraternal people of Azerbaijan on their Independence Day. We pay tribute to Azerbaijani forces valiantly defending their territorial integrity. Pakistan stands with Azerbaijan in its quest to resolve Nagorno-Karabakh issue as per United Nations Security resolutions," he wrote.

Armenian Armed Forces launched a large-scale military attack on positions of the Azerbaijani army on the front line, using large-caliber weapons, mortars, and artillery on Sept. 27.
