Everyone should understand that Putin has declared war not on Ukraine, but on the whole world.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

Standing around the armed and defensive forces on the streets of the capital Kyiv, Poroshenko told CNN that Ukrainians are ready to defend their country:

"Russian President Vladimir Putin will never be able to take over our country."

Poroshenko thanked the United States and the United Kingdom for their arms support.

"No matter how many soldiers are killed, no matter how many missiles, no matter how many nuclear weapons, we Ukrainians are free people in Europe with a future," Poroshenko said.
