Recently, my visits to Germany have become regular. I can say that German-Azerbaijani relations are experiencing a period of rapid development recently.

Axar.az reports that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said these words at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin on April 26.

Recalling that he met with the Chancellor in March of last year in Berlin and two months ago in Munich, the head of state said:

"The bilateral agenda is quite extensive. The development of German-Azerbaijani relations is of great importance both for our countries and for the development and stability of the South Caucasus as a whole."
