Riots in Yerevan: Foreign Ministry building besieged

The Armenian opposition resumed mass protests in the center of the capital Yerevan in the morning.

Axar.az reports the protests began after a small opposition rally in a tent camp in France Square. The protesters then marched to Republic Square.

Protesters reportedly surrounded the Foreign Ministry building to block entrances and exits.

Police are not visible in the area, only police special forces are watching the protests.
