Kuwait has appointed an ambassador to Iran after six years.

Axar.az reports that Ambassador Bader Abdullah presented his credentials to Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in Tehran.

This move comes at a time when Saudi Arabia is trying to improve relations with Iran.

It should be noted that in 2016, after the tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran, Kuwait recalled its ambassador to Tehran.
