Europe reduced aid to Ukraine

During July, Europe's six largest countries did not offer new bilateral military commitments to post-war Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that "Politiko" published information about this.

"Since the end of April, there has been a decreasing tendency of Europe's military aid obligations to Ukraine. Last week, at the Conference of Defense Ministers of the Northern Allies held in Copenhagen to support Ukraine, it was agreed to allocate more than 1.5 billion euros in additional support to Kyiv. This number is small compared to what was agreed at previous conferences. European countries should look at the war in Ukraine more like the Eurozone crisis or the coronavirus pandemic. These two events are prompting the continent to spend hundreds of billions in emergency funding measures. The EU Pandemic Fund has around €800 billion in loans and grants. In general, European aid to Ukraine is still a small part of this amount. Considering what is at stake, this is surprisingly low," the report said.
