It was reported that the North Korean media does not mention the holiday. January 8, 2023 is not marked as a holiday in North Korea.

"This is due to the fact that the leader's birthday is not yet official in the country. According to the official information of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un was born on January 8, 1982, and according to other versions, on January 8, 1984 or 1983. In South Korea, North Korea they believe that the leader is 39 years old," the information says.
