Iran rejected the Turkish Red Crescent Society's request for assistance to earthquake victims.

Axar.az reports that after the harsh reaction of the Turkish people to the delay in aid to the people of Azerbaijan, the head of the Turkish Red Crescent Society shared about it on his Twitter account.

"The Iranian side turned down the proposal of the Golden Crescent to help the victims of the earthquake in Khoy, saying, 'We can handle it ourselves, thank you,'" the post says.

It should be noted that as a result of two consecutive earthquakes that occurred in Khoy on January 28-29, 3 people died and about 1200 people were injured. People are forced to sleep on the streets in the snow and cold due to the government's failure to help those whose houses were destroyed.
