Axar.az reports that Israel's decision to establish official relations with Somaliland has been criticized by several countries for several days. These include China, Turkey, which has been strengthening its influence in the region, as well as the EU and the African Union.

The US representative defended Israel at an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council. At the same time, US President Donald Trump said that his country would not repeat Israel's step.
