Protests spread across Iranian cities

Protests continued in several cities in Iran at night.

Axar.az reports that Reza Pahlavi, the son of the last Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, called on the people to join a nationwide strike and large-scale protests in his latest address.

In protest against the worsening economic situation, shopkeepers in various cities, including Tehran, Isfahan, Ahvaz, Shiraz, Kermanshah, and Najafabad, closed their shops and held protests.

Following calls from student organizations and activists, students in various cities of the country, including Tehran, Isfahan, and Yazd, joined the protests.

Protesters chanted slogans such as "Death to the dictator," "No Gaza, no Lebanon, my life is sacrificed for Iran," "Death to the juristic system," "Death to this luxury, we will go to the end," "This is the last battle, Pahlavi will return," and "Reza Shah, may his soul rest in peace."

Protesters in Kermanshah and Tehran resisted security forces, forcing them to retreat.
