The US expanded sanctions against Russia

The United States has imposed further sanctions against Russia.

Axar.az reports that the US Ministry of Finance has released information about this.

According to information, a number of individuals and legal entities have been blacklisted. The new restrictions target 22 individuals and entities in several countries who helped Russia evade previous sanctions.

"Russia's attempts to use puppets to circumvent US sanctions show that sanctions have made it much more difficult and expensive for the Russian military industrial complex to restore supplies to Putin's military machine," said Deputy Finance Minister Wally Adeyemo.

In addition, a number of organizations from Bulgaria, Israel, Cyprus, Latvia and Singapore have been blacklisted.
