Iranian FM arrives in Lebanon with family

It has been announced that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has traveled to Lebanon with his family members and that they will stay in the country for an indefinite period.

Axar.az reports that Iraqi-born Lebanese journalist and researcher Hussein Abdul Hussein X shared information on his social network that Araghchi took his family with him during his visit to Lebanon.

According to him, there is similar information regarding the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, and it is said that the ambassador's family is also currently in Lebanon.

The journalist notes that Araghchi arrived in Beirut with his wife, Arzu Ahmadvand, his daughter Sadat, and his two sons - Seyidhuseyn and Seyidrza. It is reported that the family is being accommodated in private homes belonging to Iranian diplomats in Lebanon, and the duration of their stay is uncertain.

Abdul Hussein also touched upon the possible direction of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's movement in his post, saying that it is unlikely that he will go to Moscow. According to the journalist, a possible destination for Khamenei could be Beirut.
