The Bulgarian government will not participate in the EU countries' joint ammunition supply plan to Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the Minister of Defense of Bulgaria, Dimitar Stiyanov.

According to him, official Sofia will not participate in the plan to supply 155 mm shells to Ukraine, because the Bulgarian army does not use these shells:

"There is no such ammunition in the Bulgarian army, so there is no possibility that they will be given to Ukraine. We do not use such calibers."
