Russian authorities are preparing to launch a major campaign to recruit an additional 400,000 soldiers. For this, they need military equipment, which is not available in Moscow.

Axar.az reports that the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain has released information about this.

According to the Russian press, the new campaign is presented not as a forced mobilization, but as the involvement of volunteers and professional personnel.

According to British intelligence, the reason why Russian authorities prefer the voluntary model is to fill personnel shortages and minimize internal discontent.
