We will continue to stand with Armenia and Azerbaijan and work with our partners to seek lasting peace.

Axar.az reports that Toivo Klaar, the special representative of the European Union (EU) on the crisis in the South Caucasus and Georgia, wrote on Twitter.

"We welcome the ongoing four-day talks between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington. Progress can be achieved only through dialogue," said the EU official.
