Russian President Vladimir Putin is not planning any contacts with the leaders of India and Pakistan yet.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in a statement to TASS amid the escalation of the situation in the region.

“No, it is not currently planned,” he said.

It should be noted that on April 22, tourists were fired upon in the Indian-controlled region of Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the death of 26 tourists. India, stating that Pakistan was behind the terrorists who committed this murder, took strict measures, canceled all visas issued to Pakistanis, gave Pakistani citizens 48 hours to leave the country, and also announced its withdrawal from the Delhi Water Treaty. India also announced that it would reduce the staff of its embassy in Pakistan by half and demanded that the number of employees of the Pakistani embassy be reduced from 55 to 30, and declared the military attaché persona non grata.
