Today, the Netherlands’ ambassador to Tehran, Emil Frederik Dubon, was summoned to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Axar.az informs that ISNA reported this development.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry described the accusation by the Netherlands’ General Intelligence and Security Service—claiming that Tehran was involved in two assassination attempts in Europe—as baseless and expressed its protest to the ambassador.
It should be noted that yesterday, Iran's ambassador in Amsterdam was summoned to the Dutch Foreign Ministry due to suspicions that Tehran had attempted two assassination operations in Europe. Dutch intelligence stated that two individuals were arrested in connection with attempted killings of an Iranian and a Spaniard in Europe in 2023 and 2024.
