Turkiye has called on Armenia to support the normalization of bilateral relations.

Axar.az reports that the Turkish Foreign Ministry stated on this.

It was noted that conditions should not be created for radical groups to try to create tension.

It was stated that Turkiye rejects statements that are not true and contrary to international law regarding the events of 1915:

“Such statements have no basis.”

It was emphasized that Turkiye has always advocated for ensuring an environment of peace, stability, and dialogue in the international community and the region:

“For this purpose, our country has opened its archives for an objective investigation of the events of 1915.”

It should be noted that today (April 24), Armenians are marking the 110th anniversary of the so-called “genocide.” For this purpose, Turkish and Azerbaijani flags were burned, and calls for terrorism were made at rallies and marches organized in the center of Yerevan.
