A telephone conversation took place between the Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, and the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye, Numan Kurtulmush.

Axar.az reports that during the telephone conversation, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis expressed his concern about the series of earthquakes that occurred in the Turkish city of Istanbul.

It was emphasized once again that Azerbaijan and Turkiye, as brotherly countries, are always together in good and difficult times.

Numan Kurtulmush expressed gratitude for the attention and support shown and provided information about the measures taken to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake.
