On April 23, a telephone conversation took place between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, and the Vice President of the Republic of Turkiye, Cevdet Yilmaz.

Axar.az reports, citing the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, that during the telephone conversation, concern was expressed regarding the series of earthquakes that occurred in Istanbul, and it was stated that Azerbaijan, as always, stands by brotherly Turkiye in this difficult moment.

The assessment of the region by the relevant Turkish agencies, as well as the measures taken to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake, were discussed.
