The NomadMania travel club has begun its visit to the city of Aghdam.
Axar.az reports that the travelers' visit to the city began with a visit to the Alley of Martyrs, which the Armenians destroyed.
During the period of occupation, the travelers were informed that acts of vandalism were committed by the Armenian armed forces in Aghdam, as well as in other settlements.
It was noted that, in addition to ethnic cleansing, the destruction of historical and cultural monuments in the area formed the basis of Armenia's occupation policy. Therefore, not only historical sites, but also cemeteries were destroyed, and the remains in the graves were removed and destroyed.
Members of the NomadMania travel club also got acquainted with the "Bread Museum" in Aghdam. The guests were given detailed information about the history of the museum and the 2,800 exhibits on display here.
Travelers touring the city of Agdam were also informed about the clearance of mines and unexploded ordnance from the area after its liberation from occupation, as well as the extensive reconstruction work being carried out there. It was also brought to the attention of the guests that the resettlement of residents has begun in several villages in Agdam that were rebuilt after the occupation.
