We maintain brotherly relations with all neighboring countries.
Axar.az reports this was stated by Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
"Russia is the main strategic partner and reliable ally of Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan and Russia, from the very beginning, demarcated the longest land border on the continent based on mutual agreement. Recently, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan reached a mutual understanding on the border issue that had not been resolved for many years. It can be said that a historic agreement has been signed, which we consider a great achievement. We are happy for the brotherly states that we consistently support," Tokayev stated.
Tokayev also emphasized that the cooperation with China has deep roots. "The Chinese people have never harmed the Kazakh people and will not do so in the future," said the Kazakh leader.
According to him, Kazakhstan respects the Uzbeks "as their own brothers."
"The Turkmen are a related people to us, we honor our common ancestors. We also have sincere feelings for Azerbaijan, with which we share the shores of the ancient Caspian Sea." Tokayev noted.
