Gurbanov: Nariman’s departure is better for his future

Nariman's departure is not a heartbreaking situation for us. It's just that he needed to leave due to recent issues.

Axar.az reports that these words were spoken by Qarabag head coach Gurban Gurbanov when talking about Nariman Akhundzadeh's departure from the team.

Commenting on the player's transfer to the US club "Columbus Crew", the expert said that he has been one of the team's most productive players in the last two years:

Negotiations are going seriously. Although the process is approaching the final stage, some details have not yet been fully clarified. He should leave. He was not in his element; he came up with different ideas every day. His departure from our team is important for him to recover and find himself again. I needed such players in a tight schedule. But there is nothing more to do. I hope that we will see a better Nariman in the future."

G. Gurbanov noted that offers to football players sometimes create unpleasant situations on the eve of games:

“Today, after the game, a football player approached me and said that he had received a good offer. Such unpleasant situations happen every time. But the offer comes from a place where you can only go for money. We are trying to prepare the team well for the games.”
