It was noted that in some areas, precipitation is likely to be torrential, hail will fall, and sleet will occur in high mountainous areas. The westerly wind will occasionally strengthen in some places:

"In Baku and the Absheron peninsula, the weather is expected to be changeable, cloudy, mainly rainless on April 26 and 27. There is a possibility of short-term rain in some parts of the peninsula on the evening of April 28 and on the night of April 29. A mild north-westerly wind will blow, occasionally strengthening from the evening of the 27th to the 29th."

The head of the service recommended that citizens follow more accurate weather information and warnings through the official website of the National Hydrometeorological Service meteo.az, and the meteo.az mobile application.
