The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved the appointment of Rustam Umerov to the post of Minister of Defense.

Axar.az informs that the Ukrainian press reported on this.

According to information, during the voting, 338 deputies voted in favour of Umerov's appointment.

It should be noted that on September 4, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy decided to appoint the Crimean Tatar Turk Rustam Umerov as the Minister of Defense.
