Stopping the broadcast of "Sputnik Armenia" radio in Armenia is a violation of freedom of speech.

Axar.az reports that Vladimir Solovyov, the chairman of the Union of Russian Journalists, said these words.

According to him, many people in Armenia know the Russian language, and for them, the broadcasting of Russian channels is part of the information flow.

Solovyov reminded that there are examples of friendship, cooperation and interaction between the Armenian and Russian societies:

"Our cultural ties are very close, some of them have family ties. Therefore, of course, it is not worth cutting off the air and ties in this way."

It should be noted that the broadcasting of "Sputnik Armenia" radio in Armenia has been suspended for a month.
