It is planned to build a Victory museum in the Flag Square of Shusha city.

Axar.az informs that Muslim Imranli, an employee of Shusha City State Conservation Department, said this in his statement.

According to him, the opening of the Flag Square in Shusha made every citizen of Azerbaijan proud:

"Our tricolor, moon and star flag, which glorifies the freedom, sovereignty, and national identity of our people, is our national pride. As a result of the glorious victory won in the 44-day Patriotic War and the one-day local anti-terrorist measures conducted by the Azerbaijani Army on September 19-20, 2023, our country fully restored its territorial integrity and sovereignty. Today, the national flag of Azerbaijan flies proudly in all areas of the country. On September 19, the opening of the Flag Square in the city of Shusha with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev created a sense of pride and pride in every citizen of Azerbaijan.

M. Imanli also informed about the works done and planned in the Flag Square:

"Reconstruction of the Flag Square in Shusha began in May 2024. The Flag Square is surrounded by an amphitheater. The total area of ​​the area is 9190 square meters, the area of ​​greenery is 3693 square meters, and the height of the flagpole is 11.7 meters. Most of the perennial plants in the area have been preserved and integrated into the project. Local plants, including plane trees, were used in landscaping.

Modern seats and lighting system are installed here. "Victory museum, multi-functional concert-performance hall and shopping center are planned to be built around the Flag Square in accordance with the Shusha City Master Plan."
