Police have seized 825 kilograms of heroin and arrested 30 suspected members of the criminal organization in Turkiye.

Axar.az informs Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said this on X on Wednesday.

"In a major operation spanning 7 provinces and centered in Adana, authorities seized 825 kilograms of heroin and arrested 30 suspected members of the criminal organization. Acting on intelligence gathered by the Adana Narcotics Unit, police launched simultaneous operations at 38 different locations across Adana, Hakkari, Hatay, Istanbul, Van, Diyarbakır, and Mersin. Unlicensed firearms and a large number of digital devices were also confiscated during the raids," he noted.
