Taliban to join event with Baku and Yerevan

The "Taliban" government in Afghanistan applied to participate in the BRICS summit to be held in Kazan.

Axar.az reports that agency spread the information about this.

In a letter sent to Russia, Kazan said that Abdul Ghani Baradar, the head of the political wing of the Taliban, would attend.

It should be noted that the BRICS summit will be held in Kazan in October. Azerbaijan and Turkiye were also invited to the summit. Also, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said that he will participate in the summit.

In recent months, many countries, including Russia, are thinking about removing the Taliban from the list of terrorist organizations.
