A delegation led by Deputy Chief of the General Military Police Department of the Russian Federation, Major General Koch Vitaly, visited our country in order to participate in the "working meeting on the exchange of experience in the field of personnel training and ensuring order and traffic safety in the Armed Forces" held in Baku.

Axar.az reports that according to the information provided by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, the guests first paid tribute to the memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan in the Alley of Martyrs by arranging flowers.

Then the Russian delegation came to the Military Police Department and commemorated the National Leader of our people Heydar Aliyev with respect and honor by placing flowers in front of the bust erected in the territory of the department.

At the meeting held with the participation of the delegations of both countries, the guests were given a briefing on the history and daily activities of the Military Police Department, material and technical equipment and training program, and opinions were exchanged on a number of issues of mutual interest.

The Russian delegation also got acquainted with the modern weapons and equipment used by the military police units, administrative building, sports hall and car park.

Later, heartfelt words were written in the memorial book.

Within the framework of the visit, the Russian guests visited the "N" military unit under the Military Police Department, and watched the demonstration exercise on the military police units' residential area and military facilities, the neutralization of armed forces and the evacuation of prisoners of war.
