A 4.6-magnitude earthquake occurred near the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Axar.az reports that the seismological experimental-methodical expedition of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan has released information about this.

It was reported that the earthquake's epicentre was 55 kilometres east of Almaty, at a depth of 10 kilometres.
