EU to suspend visa-free travel for Georgian diplomats

The permanent representatives of the 27 EU countries have confirmed the decision to suspend visa-free travel for Georgian diplomats.

Axar.az reports that this was announced by TASS, citing a diplomatic source within the EU Council.

According to the diplomat, the decision must be officially approved by the EU Council.

The decision will be reviewed at a meeting of the foreign ministers of the 27 countries, scheduled for January 27.
