The construction of NATO's largest military base has begun in Romania.

Axar.az reports that "Avronyus" published information about this.

According to information, the area of the base will be 2800 hectares and the total perimeter will be 30 kilometers.

It was reported that about 10,000 NATO servicemen and their families will be able to live there permanently:

"On the territory of the base worth 2.5 billion euros, there will be runways, weapons platforms, hangars for military aircraft, as well as schools, kindergartens, shops and even hospitals. "After the construction is completed, it will be the largest NATO base in Europe."
