From March 30, 2024, the majority of Armenian banks will stop accepting cards from the Russian "Mir" payment system.

Axar.az reports that the representative of "VTB Armenia" bank (a subsidiary of VTB Russia) told RBC.

"From March 30, users will no longer be able to make cashless payments at POS terminals and withdraw cash from ATMs of other banks of the republic. This will not affect the operation of "VTB Armenia" cards in any way," he said.

It should be noted that this information was confirmed to the publication by a source in the Russian payment market.
