President of Kazakhstan Gasim-Jomart Tokayev reprimanded the officials for not taking measures during the floods.

Axar.az reports that the press service of the President of Kazakhstan released information about this.

According to information, Prime Minister Roman Sklyar, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Nurzhan Nurjigitov, heads of Aktyubinsk, Kostanay and West Kazakhstan, Atyrau, Akmolinsk, Almaty and Pavlodar provinces were reprimanded by the president.

"The president said that there is no coordination between the government and local executive authorities. The President expressed his regret for the huge loss of personal property of the residents of the affected regions. He apologized and said with confidence that financial assistance will be provided to all victims," the information stated.
