Axar.az reports that this was reported by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.

"According to the principle of reciprocity, the Tajik side is discussing the issue of applying the visa regime for Turkish citizens," the Tajik MFA official said.

He added that Turkiye informed Tajikistan about this decision through diplomatic channels.

It should be noted that earlier the President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed a decision on the cancellation of the visa-free regime for citizens of Tajikistan.
