The US wants to reclaim the money allocated to Ukraine because one day it could turn into Russia.

Axar.az reports that US President Donald Trump made this statement.

“They have tremendously valuable land in terms of rare earth, in terms of oil and gas and other things. I want to have our money secured because we're spending hundreds of billions of dollars and, you know, they may make a deal. They may not make a deal. They may be Russians someday or may not be Russians someday.” Trump said.

The US president noted that he wants to receive the equivalent of approximately $500 billion in rare metals.

According to him, this way, the US will not feel like a fool.
