Former President Donald Trump stated that if Hamas does not release all hostages by noon on Saturday, he would call for the cancellation of the ceasefire in Gaza and allow Israel to act forcefully.
Axar.az, citing Fox News, reports that Trump emphasized that the hostages must be freed all at once, not in stages.
Meanwhile, Hamas announced it would delay the next planned hostage release, accusing Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement. The ongoing six-week ceasefire involved Hamas freeing 33 Israeli hostages in exchange for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, with multiple swaps already completed. However, Hamas now demands Israel fulfill its obligations before proceeding.
In response, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz condemned Hamas' decision, calling it a violation of the agreement and instructing the IDF to remain on high alert. Trump also commented on the deteriorating condition of released Israeli hostages, comparing them to Holocaust survivors and warning that patience was running out.
