Macron: France supports Armenia’s territorial integrity

President Emmanuel Macron has once again confirmed France’s determination to support Armenia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a press release issued by the Élysée Palace following Macron’s meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

“On February 10, during the Artificial Intelligence Summit held at the Élysée Palace, President Emmanuel Macron met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The two leaders agreed to continue developing cooperation projects between France and Armenia, particularly in the fields of energy, defense, and transportation. Macron reaffirmed France’s full support for the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as for the signing of a peace treaty in accordance with international law. He also reiterated France’s commitment to supporting Armenia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as the Armenian people’s aspirations for peace, security, and democracy,” the statement read.
