Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed 4 principles to prevent the Ukraine crisis from spiralling out of control and restore peace soon.

Axar.az reports that he said this during a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Beijing.

"First, we should give priority to maintaining peace and stability and refrain from seeking selfish gains. Second, we must defuse the situation and not add fuel to the fire. Third, we must create conditions for the restoration of peace and refrain from escalating tensions. "Fourth, we should reduce the negative impact on the global economy and avoid destabilizing the global industry and supply chains," said Jinping.
