The draft law "On transparency of foreign influence" is primarily aimed at protecting Georgia from Ukrainianization, that is, strengthening Georgia's sovereignty and ensuring stable development of the country.

Axar.az reports that Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze said this.

The Prime Minister said that this law will not distance Georgia from Europe, but on the contrary, it will significantly bring it closer to its most important foreign political goal - integration into the European Union.

It should be noted that yesterday the Georgian Parliament adopted the bill "On Transparency of Foreign Influence" in the first reading, which caused mass protests.
