Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergey Shoigu held a working meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

It was noted in the information that Shoigu suggested to his Turkish counterpart to hold full format bilateral consultations on security issues in the third quarter of this year.
"I am ready to increase Russia-Turkiye relations through the security councils. I would like to take this opportunity to convey my greetings to the head of the National Intelligence Organization, Kalin, the Minister of Defense, Güler, as well as the General Secretary of the National Security Council of the Republic of Turkiye, Hacimuftuoghlu, whom I am waiting for in Russia at the appropriate time. I propose to hold full format bilateral consultations on security issues in Moscow or Ankara in the third quarter," Shoigu said.
