Freezing Russian assets in the West is theft and will not go unpunished.

Axar.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin said this in a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"Western countries have currently frozen Russia's assets and currency reserves. Now they are thinking about how to provide some legal basis to adopt them once and for all. Despite all the nastiness, this is theft, it will certainly be considered theft. On the other hand, this will not go unpunished," he said.
