What will the election of Pezeshkian change? - USA

Washington does not expect any change in the behavior of the Islamic Republic after the election of Masoud Pezeshkian as president.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by the spokesman of the National Security Council of the White House, John Kirby.

He said that the US is not ready to resume nuclear negotiations with Iran during the new presidency of this country.

"Iran continues to support terrorist groups such as Hamas, Lebanon's Hezbollah, and Yemen's Houthis, and supplies Russia with drones and drone technologies used to kill innocent Ukrainians. "Given Tehran's continued support for proxy groups and Russia's war against Ukraine, America's response to resuming talks on Iran's nuclear program will be negative."

It should be noted that the results of the last secret report of the International Atomic Energy Agency show that Iran has increased its stock of enriched uranium.
